Postmortem

Our investigation into this incident showed that the front end of the web application became unresponsive due to an unexpected spike in utilization. In the short term, we have increased and upgraded infrastructure to meet peak usage. In the long term, our engineering team is taking steps to make the application more resilient and scalable to react quicker to changes in utilization to meet the expectations of our growing customer base.
